The 22 year-old is mostly famous for being a member of the K-Pop hip hop boy group Monsta X.

Before joining the group, he used to be a member of the K-Pop boy group Nuboyz, formed by Starship Entertainment.

He speaks Korean, his native language, and is also fluent in English.

When asked on an interview about his ideal type of girlfriend he replied that he loves Kang Sora.
